During the morning of 25 Mar, a rocket fired from Rafah damaged a home in the Kfar Saba region of central Israel, injuring seven people. While Hamas officials stated the J-80 rocket was fired by mistake, the Israeli Government holds Hamas directly responsible. The incident resulted in the mobilisation of two infantry and an armoured division as well as a limited call up of reservists. Hamas previously stated that a rocket had been mistakenly fired from Gaza on 14 Mar and it is possible that elements of Hamas or PIJ are attempting to escalate tensions following a recent ceasefire agreement brokered by Egypt.
